Serbia: Hurricane win Beovizija 2020 with “Hasta La Vista” and are heading to Rotterdam
Following the two semi final shows that took place the last two evenings ,tonight Serbia determined its Eurovision 2020 act and entry through the national final of Beovizija 2020. The female group Hurricane won the national final with “Hasta La Vista” and are off to Rotterdam!
The show was hosted by Dragana Kosjerina, Jovan Radomir, Kristina Radenković and Stefan Popović. Guests of the show were Marija Serifovic, who brought the trophy back in 2007 with her entry Molitva and Hari Mata Hari who had performed Lejla in Eurovision 2006 bringing a 3rd place to Bosnia Herzegovina.
In the previous two semi final rounds we saw a total of 24 candidates perform in order to qualify in tonight final show. The public and jury vote determined the 12 finalists (six from each semi final) that battled for the golden ticket in this evening’s final show .
The 12 acts that took to the stage in the final were :

- Andrija Jo – Oči meduze
- Igor Simić – Ples za rastanak
- Thea Devy – Sudnji dan

- Naiva – Baš, baš
- Marko Marković – Kolači
- Bane Mojićević – Cvet sa Prokletija
Once the jury’s and public’s votes were in and added Hurricane were crowned winners of the national final . Following are the jury results :
The female group apart from the jury voting topped the public voting too with more than 19,000 sms votes coming in. Therefore the overall scoreboard once the two voting were added up seemed like this:

About Hurricane
Hurrican is a Pop & R&B female group formed Zoran Milinković in November 2017 and is made up by Sanja Vučić, Ivana Nikolić and Ksenija Knežević.They sing mostly in English; they have only three songs in their native language Serbian till now. Hurricane aims to be recognized globally; they have two planned songs for Universal (as of November 2019), and already have collaborated with Hollywood producer Stephen Belafonte (in September 2018
Two of its members are no strangers to the Eurovision world but have got involved one way or another in the event. Namely, Sanja Vučić who is a singer that embraces Jazz element, represented Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 as member of her former group, ΖΑΑ, finishing 18th with the song Goodbye (Shelter). Ksenija Knežević the other hand is the daughter of Knez, the Montenegerin ESC 2014 act while Ksenija herself competed in the 2014 Serbian national final as member of the group SKY. Ivana Nikolić had in the past several collaborations with major former Yugoslavian music stars.
