Serbia: Tonight the first semi final of Beovizija 2020
The Serbian national selection shows kicks off tonight with the first semi final round of Beovizija 2020, which this year turns 10 years old. Hosts of the show will be Dragana Kosjerina, Jovan Radomir, Kristina Radenković and Stefan Popović.
Beovizija 2020 consists of 3 shows, two semi final shows and a grand final. A total of 24 candidates will compete in this year’s edition, who were chosen out of a total of 90 submissions at the country’s national broadcster, RTS. Tonight the first set of 12 acts will compete in the first semi final show.
The acts that will take the stage this evening are:

- Milica Mišić – Kiša
- Ivan Kurtić & Mistik Cello – Sabajle
- Thea Devy – Sudnji dan
- Karizma – Ona me zna
- Andrija Jo – Oči Meduze
- Sanja Bogosavljević – Ne puštam
- Marko Marković – Kolači
- Srđan Lazić – Duša i telo
- Neda Ukraden – Bomba
- Bilja & Amvon duo – Raj
- Igor Simić – Ples za rastanak
Among the participants we see Ivan Kurtić who had competed in Beovizija 2018. One of the people behind Igor Simić’s entry is Daniel Kajmakoski, the North Macedonian representative at ESC 2015 while Marko Marković’s song is signed by Vladimir Graić, who was the composer of the Serbian ESC entries Molitva and Beauty Never Lies. Another name that stands out is that of Leontina Vukomanović, songwriter of Lane Moje ( Serbia ESC 2004- 2nd place) and the Junior Eurovision 2019 Podigni Glas.
Through today’s contestants 6 will qualify to the final show.The result will be determined by public and jury voting. The first semi final round of Beovizija 2020 begins at 21:00 CET and you can watch it live HERE.
