The Eurovision Story So Far

Back at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 the nation  competed in the special preliminary semifinal in Slovenia, but failed to qualify and participate . It was the following year with  Martin Durinda and Tublatanka when the country made its first participation in Dublin. Since then the country has partaken 8 times and it hasn’t any remarkable results when it comes to results when its best placing was in Oslo with Marcel Palonder and his 18th placing

It was Max Jason Mai  and his song  Don’t close your eyes  at ESC 2012 in Baku that represented Slovakia for the county’s last appearance.
