Spain: Blas Cantó to present four songs for Eurovision 2021 ESC

Blas Cantó, Spain’s Eurovision 2021 hopeful, will present four songs to TVE and its record company, Warner Music, one of which will be chosen as the ESC 2021 entry.

A total of four proposals will be submitted by the Spanish act to the national broadcaster and his record company regarding his Eurovision 2021 entry,  in order to assess which one should travel to Rotterdam next May.

The four selected present a certain variety within the singer’s usual brand. According to Eurovision-Spain, among them would not be any of the songs signed together with Duncan Laurence, winner of the contest in 2019 who brought the fifth Eurovision trophy to The Netherlands.

With the final format of song selection not decided , it is not clear if the SPpanish broadcaster will repeat an internal election as for the cancelled Eurovision 2020 or if there will be a public preselection, as happened with Pastora Soler, an artist close to the current representative. At this moment the songs are being finished producing, for a detailed evaluation by the public channel.
