Spain: Levi Díaz selected for Junior Eurovision 2021
The Spanish national broadcaster, RTVE, has announced Levi Díaz as the act to represent Spain at Junior Eurovision 2021.
Levi Díaz marks the second JESC 2021 representative and will be defending the Spanihs colors in Paris on December 19, 2021 .
Levi Díaz is 13 years old born in Cornellà de Llobregat and is the current winner of the sixth edition of ‘La Voz Kids’ in Spain. In ‘La Voz Kids’ he won after performing songs like‘ Mama No ‘with Pablo López,‘ Diamonds’, ‘Warrior’, ‘Alive’ by Sia, or the very demanding song ‘Never enough’ from the OST of ‘The greatest showman ‘.
In 2019, he participated in the first edition of ‘La Voz de Cornellà’ and won the first prize in the youth category, in addition to receiving public recognition with the award for the most charismatic contestant.
Spain returned to the competition in the 2019 edition after 13 years of absence and did it with an impressive. The young talented act starred in a memorable performance with “Marte” (Mars) on the stage of Gliwice-Silesia and achieved to finish in 3rd place.
In 2020 the nation was represented by Soleá who performed the song ‘Palante’ which finished third on the overall scoreboard with 133 points.
