Spain: RTVE announces Benidorm Fest 2022 rules and regulation, opens submission window
Spain’s national broadcaster, RTVE, has published the rules and opened the submission window for Benidorm Fest 2022, the competition that will determine the country’s representative for Eurovision 2022.
Spain’s national broadcaster, RTVE, published the rules and regulations for the national selection, Benidorm Fest 2022.
For one month, from September 29 to October 29, 2021, artists, writers and composers will be able to submit their proposal via the entry form, which can be found on the official RTVE website or at rtve.es/benidormfest .
In addition, Spain’s national broadcaster, RTVE, will directly invite acclaimed singers and writers to the current music scene. PTVE’s target is to secure the best possible entries and to select a very competitive song that will represent the country at Eurovision 2022 in Italy.
Spain in Eurovision
Spain has been taking part in the Eurovision Song contest since 1961 and has won the contest two times in 1968 with Massiel and in 1969 with Salome.
This year represented by Blas Cantó who sang “Voy e Quedarme” which finished 24th place with only 6 points.
