Spain: The final 10 contestants of Operación Triunfo Eurovision Gala 2019
The final line up of OT Eurovision Gala was completed today as the Spanish broadcaster revealed the seven acts left! Two days after the online results the broadcaster unveiled the full list of the Operación Triunfo Eurovision Gala 2019 participants.
Today another set of seven acts were added to the three acts that were placed in the three top spots of the online voting, namely María, Noelia and Natalia. Following the online voting for the 17 candidate songs, a five member jury from TVE, TVE Digital and Operacion Triunfo 2018 teachers chose additionally 7 more entries from the rest 14 songs.
The 10 finalists among which is the winnet of OT 2018, Famous, will battle for the golden ticket that leads to the 64th Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv. The final 10 contestants and their entries are:
- Carlos Right with “Se te nota”
- Famous with “No puedo más”
- Julia with “Qué quieres que haga”
- María with “Muérdeme”
- Marilia with “Todo bien”
- Miki with “La venda”
- Natalia with “La clave”
- Natalia & Miki with “Nadie se salva”
- Noelia with “Hoy vuelvo a reír otra vez”
- Sabela with “Hoy soñaré”
Therefore according to the final list acts like Alba Reche, Damion, Joan Garrido and Marta will miss out the Eurovision Gala 2019. Notable is the case of Alba Reche has raised arguments as lot of fans find the decision controversial, as the specific participant was a popular OT runner up while his song ”¿Qué será luego?” came 6th in the online voting. The national final of OT Eurovision Gala will take place later this month.
