Sweden 2017: Robin Bengtsson goes to Kiev with the song ”I Can’t Go On”.

The grand final took place on 11 March 2017 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm, hosted by Clara Henry, David Lindgren and Hasse Andersson.

Twelve songs competed – two qualifiers from each of the four preceding semi-finals and four qualifiers from the Second Chance round. The combination of points from a viewer vote and eleven international jury groups will determine the winner. The viewers and the juries each will have a total of 473 points to award. The nations that comprise the international jury will be Armenia, Australia, Czech Republic, France, Israel, Italy, Malta, Norway, Poland, United Kingdom and Ukraine.

Robin Bengtsson was the winner with the song I Can’t Go On

Robin Bengtsson was born on 27 April 1990 in Svenljunga, Sweden and is 26 years old.  He is a Swedish singer who took part in Swedish Idol 2008. Robin Bengtsson  finished third behind winner Kevin Borg and runner-up Alice Svensson In Idol 2008. He participated in Melodifestivalen 2016 with the song “Constellation Prize” and placed fifth. He participated in Melodifestivalen 2017 with the song “I Can’t Go On” and won the competition. He will represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev. He will perform in the first semifinal on 9 May.
