Sweden: Benjamin Ingrosso releases his first album “Identification”
The Swedish 2018 representative Benjamin Ingrosso has put his personal stamp in the music scene by releasing his first personal album entitled, Identification.
Benjamin’s first album, Identification as expected features pop, electropop and RnB sounds. His 2018 Eurovision entry Dance you off is included in the album and has since it was released top placings in charts of Sweden, the United Kingdom, Spain and France. His summer release I wouldn’t know is also part of the album.
In a post in his official instagram account Benjamin states that whatever is written on his ID does not define him as a person but he discovers different aspects of himself through his music.
The album consists of 12 new tracks and is now available on all online music platforms, like Spotifyand Deezer.
Benjamin Ingrosso at Eurovision
Benjamin’s involvement in Eurovision started in 2017, when he was among the 12 participants of the Grand Final of the Swedish annual national selection event, Melodifestivalen. Then he managed to end up 5th, with his entry Good lovin’.
This year, Benjamin was crowned winner of Melodifestivalen 2018 and represented Sweden in Lisbon. His song Dance you off penned by B. Ingrosso himself, as well as MAG, Louis Schoorl and K Nita, passed to the Grand Final where he achieved a Top 10 placing, coming 7th with a total of 274 points.
