Sweden: Benjamin Ingrosso will Dance Us Off  in Lisbon.

Melodifestivalen 2018 Grand Final has just finished and Benjamin Ingrosso with his song Dance you Off is the big winner and will represent Sweden in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest next May in Lisbon.

In a total of 4 semifinals and one Second Chance semi final round , we watched 28 artists compete to qualify to tonight’s Grand Final . Out Of  seven acts who took part each time, 2 qualified to the final and 2 to the second chance show. In the second chance round, the 8 contestants were divided into 4 Duels, where from each one, the act with the most votes from the audience qualified to the final.

Tonight’s final took place at the Friends Arena in Stockholm and was hosted by David Lingren and Fredrik Svensson.

The 12 acts that competed for the golden ticket to Lisbon were:

1.Mendez – Everyday

2. Renaida – All the feels

 3. Martin Almgren – A bitter lullaby

 4. John Lundvik – My turn

 5.Jessica Andersson – Party voice

6. LIAMOO – Last breath

 7. Samir & Viktor – Shuffla

 8. Mariette – For you

 9.Felix Sandman – Every single day

 10. Margaret – In my cabana

 11. Benjamin Ingrosso – Dance you off (WINNER)

 12. Rolandz – Fuldans

The winner was determined by a combination of pblic voting and an international jury consisted of the following countries: Albania-Armenia-Australia-France-Georgia-United Kingdom-Iceland-Italy-Cyprus-Poland-Portugal. The scoreboard after the international jury’s vote brought Benjamin Ingrosso in the first place and Felix Sandman second.

The final ranking after the public’s voting was added confirmed Benjamin Ingrosso  as the big winner of the night.
