Sweden: Melodifestivalen 2019 First Semi final results
The first semi-final of the national selection of Melodifestivalen 2019, took place this evening determining the first two finalists of the national final set to be held on March 9.
A total of 7 acts took part in tonight’s 1st semi-final and performed live in the following order:
- Nano – Chasing Rivers
- High 15 – No Drama
- Wiktoria – Not with Me
- Zeana feat. Anis don Demina – Mina bränder
- Arja Saijonmaa – Mina fyra årstider
- Mohombi – Hello
- Anna Bergendahl – Ashes to Ashes
The voting process included two rounds, in which only the public voted. In the first round the first five with the most votes qualified to a second round of voting. The first two in the second round qualified directly to the final while the 3rd and 4th are heading to the Second Chance semi final
From the 5 semi-finalists, a total of 2 acts got the ticket to the final to be held on March 9 at Friends Arena in Stockholm:
- Wiktoria – Not with Me
- Mohombi – Hello
The 3rd and 4th in votes qualified for Andra Chansen semi final round on March 2 at Rosvalla Nyköping Eventcenter in the city of Nyköping.
- Nano – Chasing Rivers
- Anna Bergendahl – Ashes to Ashes
The act that didn’t manage to win one of the qualifying spots were:
- 5th place – Zeana feat. Anis don Demina – Mina brander
- 6th place – High15 – No Drama
- 7th place– Arja Saijonmaa – Mina fyra arstider
The next semi-final round will be held on February 9 at Malmö Arena in Malmö
