SWEDEN: Heat 1 results of Melodifestivalen 2015
The Swedish national selection for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, Melodifestivalen 2015, kicked of and through it’s Heat 1 from Gothenburg at the Scandinavium, the home of the 1985 Eurovision Song Contest, gave our first two finalists.
A total of Four heats are scheduled and two acts will be selected from each one to qualify to the grand final on the 14th March 2015 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm. The entries placed 3rd and 4th in each heat will have a second chance with the “Andra Chansen” where 4 entries will win the last coveted places in the final line up of 12.
In the Heat 1 of Melodifestivalen 2015 we saw 7 competitors battling for 2 precious places in the final. Here are the 7 participants in Heat 1 .
- Molly Pettersson Hammar – I’ll be fine
- Daniel Gildenlöw – Pappa (Dad)
- Rickard Söderberg & Elize Ryd – One by one
- Dolly Style – Hello hi
- Behrang Miri feat. Victor Crone – Det rår vi inte för (We don’t control it)
- Jessica Andersson – Can’t hurt me now
- Eric Saade – Sting
The results confirmed the favorites Jessica Andersson and Eric Saade.which of course were both former Melodifestivalen winners, Jessica Andersson as part of Fame in 2003 and Eric Saade in 2011.

Therefore after Heat 1 the future program unfolds as following:
07/02: Semi-final 1 – Gothenburg- 14/02: Semi-final 2 – Malmo
- 21/02: Semi-final 3 – Ostersund
- 28/02: Semi-final 4 – Orebro
- 07/03: Andra chansen – Helsingborg
- 14/03: Final – Stockholm
