The Swedish national broadcaster, SVT , has released one minute snippets of the 4th  semi final entries that we will see in this Saturday’s fourth show of Melodifestivalen 2020.  

A total of seven acts will compete in the fourth semi final show that will take place at  Malmö Arena in  Malmö this Saurday, 22 February. Listen below to the snippets of the 4th semi final entries:

Another interesting semi final round as Melodifestivalen 1996 winner with the group One More Time, Nanne Grönvall is back.  Victor Crone after winning Eesti Laul 2019 and representing Estonia in Eurovision 2019 with his entry “Storm” (20th place) is now aiming to win the national final on home soil . Another return marks the past Melodifestivalen finalist Ellen BenediktsonSimon Peyron, who previously took part in Melodifestivalen as vocalist of the group Outtrigger while Frida Öhrn has been a past Melodifestivalen participant as member of the groups LaRoxx and Cookies ‘N’ Beans.

Melodifestivalen 2020 format

Melodifestivalen 2020 consists of 4 semi-final rounds, a “second chance semi-final and the grand final to be held on March 7. A total of 28 acts take part in this year’s edition, with 7 acts to compete in each of the first four semi-final rounds. The first two acts of each semi-final qualify directly to the grand final while the third and fourth places go to the “second chance” semi-final.

From each semi final the first two acts qualify for the grand final, which will take place on March 7 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm,while the third and fourth act get the tickets to the Second Chance round that will take place on February 29 at the Stiga Sports Arena in Eskilstuna.
