Sweden: Måns Zelmerlöw releases the music video of “On My Way”
Back in October 2019 Måns Zelmerlöw had released his 8th studio album titled “Time”. Among its songs is included “On My Way” the music video of which has just been released.
Måns Zelmerlöw is back with a new music video, one for his song “On my Way” , a track included in his latest studio album “Time” . The new video follows the release of the tracks “Better Now”, “Grow Up To Be You” and “Walk With Me” which are included in the same album .
The opening track of the album, “On My Way”, provides a chill introduction to the record. It combines electronic and guitar elements, but is also filled with a recurrent whistle sound near the end of the chorus. The lyrics demonstrate a dialogue with Mans in his younger times and the things he had been hearing from different people, while the music video displays parts of the swedish star’s life reaching back to his childhood years at school, his Melodifestivalen times , the ESC 2015 victory and his comeback at this year’s Australia’s national final Eurovision:Australia Decides.
The song conveys a strong message on how to handle the other people’s discouraging comments or the ups and downs life can bring in everybody’s ways and that they shouldn’t make us loose our direction to what by heart and mind we are meant to be.
Here are the ppwerful lyrics of the song “On My Way” :
You don’t need to hear the shit that they talkin’
You don’t need to care, it’s nothin’ important
‘Cause you’re only 11, it’s only the start
One day they’re all gonna know who you are
Just keep on walking
You don’t need to stay at the back of the classroom
You don’t need to play it all back when they laugh at you
‘Cause you’re only 15 and you know in your heart
One day they’re all gonna know who you are
Just keep on walking
I’m on my way
I’m getting closer everyday
To where I’m supposed to be
I know it’s only a question of time
If anyone’s asking just tell them that I’m on my way
And don’t be let down if you’re not what they’re after
Oh, it’s not the ending, it’s not a disaster
‘Cause you’re only 15 and she’s only the first
To mess with your head and I know that it hurts
But keep on walking
And don’t be the man who forgets where he came from
Oh, a little success doesn’t make you an icon
‘Cause you’re 21 now and it’s time that you know
Nothing comes easy and you’ve got so far to go
Just keep on walking
I’m on my way
I’m getting closer everyday
To where I’m supposed to be
I know it’s only a question of time
If anyone’s asking just tell them that I’m on my way
(Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh)
(Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh)
Just keep on walking
(Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh)
Just keep on walking
(Oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh)
I’m on my way
I’m getting closer everyday (oh-oh)
To where I’m supposed to be
I know it’s only a question of time
If anyone’s asking just tell them that I’m on my way
(I’m on my way)
