Sweden: Melodisfestivalen 2018 semifinals allocation revealed.

We are reaching mid January and in Sweden everything seems to be ready for the so called small Eurovision of the North. On February 3 the first semi final is scheduled to take place, so as the date is near Sweden’s national broadcaster, SVT, revealed all four semifinals allocation.

The next step concerns the 1st semi final contestant’s rehearsals and the release of the snippets of the competing songs. Notable that among the competing artists is Margaret from Poland, who after meeting great success with the song Cool me Down , this year she will try and represent Sweden with her song In my Cabana. You think she has chances in such a competitive national selection as Sweden’s?

Now we just have to wait until the rehearsals of the first semi final in order to listen to the 1st seven songs. Who will fly the Swedish flag this year after Robin Bengtsson’s 5th place in Kiev?  Will 2018 be Mariette’s year? After a 3rd place in 2015 and a 4th in 2017, will she reach the top?
