Sweden: The extracts of Melodifestivalen second semifinal’s songs
Earlier today, SVT, Swedish public broadcaster, has released the one-minute excerpts of the 7 songs of the second Melodifestivalen 2018 semi-final, to be held in Gothenburg.
Last Saturday, we saw the first semifinal and we already know the first two qualifiers of the big final, Benjamin Ingrosso and John Lundvik. In the second chance phase that will be held on Saturday March 3, Sigrid Bernson and Renaida passed.
In the second semifinal. we meet the duet Samir & Viktor, who participated in the Melodifestivalen in 2015 and in 2016 reaching the final twice. Mimi Werner participated in the festival in 2016 with her country-pop song “Ain’t No Good“, winning the 5th place in the first semifinal. Finally, the most talked- about artist in this year’s Melodifestivalen is Margaret, which was known for her effort to represent Poland in 2015 with the song “Cool Me Down”, which became a great radio success in Sweden and not only!

About the procedure
Two songs will qualify for the big final of Melodifestivalen 2018 to be held on March 10th. The songs that will win the third and fourth place will take part in the second chance show on March 3rd. In total, 4 semifinals will be held.
