Tel Aviv rehearsals Day 6: Next Big 5 country to rehearse is Italy

After last day’s rehearsals with almost all of semi final 1 countries making their 2nd rehearsal, rehearsals continue with the two remaining countries from the first semi final and nine from the 2nd semi final to conclude with the big 5 and host country’s first rehearsal. Therefore the day kicks off with Greece and concludes with Germany.

Next Big 5 country to rehearse is Italy represented this year by the Sanremo festival 2019 winner, Mahmood and his entry “Soldi”. Italy has successive top 10 placings in the recent years. Can Mahmood continue the good results or even win the contest taking in mind that he is already one of the bookies’ favorites?

The Italian act performs with 3 male dancers, who interact with the LED screen in the background. During the performance some of the song’s lyrics appear translated in English on the screen. During the last notes of the song the phrase “money can’t buy you happiness” is displayed on the LED screens.
