The Netherlands: Duncan Laurence releases new single ‘Last Night’

The Eurovision 2019 winner, Duncan Laurence, from the Netherlands has dropped his new single titled “Last night”.
Duncan Laurence, the Dutch act that brought the Eurovision trophy back in the Netherlands, has released his new single “Last Night” ahead of his upcoming debut album “Small Town Boy” on November 13.
Duncan has released the lyric video of his new song which is slightly more upbeat from his previous work. The Dutch act elaborating on his new song says:
Sometimes we have to look into ourselves to do what’s right for the people we love. It’s easy to point out someone else’s mistakes, but it takes courage to look inwards. ‘Last Night’ is my tribute to imperfect relationships, because vulnerability and imperfection are more beautiful than perfection.
Duncan’s new track Last Night was written by Duncan alongside Ashley Hicklin, Jordan Garfield and Mikolaj Trybulec. Behind the song’s production is Duncan himself, along with Miki Trybulec and Arjen Mensinga.
Duncan Laurence in Eurovision
In 2019 Duncan Laurence was internally selected by the Dutch broadcaster, AVROTROS, to represent The Netherlands at Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv,with the song ‘Arcade’. The Netherlands received a total of 498 points, with 261 points from the public and 237 points from the professional juries confirming the bookies that wanted Duncan winner from the day his song was released.
