The Netherlands: Duncan Laurence to Tel Aviv
The Dutch national broadcaster, AVROTROS, unveiled the country’s Eurovision 2019 representative. 24 yo Duncan Laurence will fly the Dutch flag in Tel Aviv
The Netherlands have decided and it is official. Duncan Laurence will represent the country next May in Tel Aviv. Through it’s official Eurovision instagram account AVROTROS unveiled this year’s Eurovision representative.
Duncan de Moor, is the real name of Duncan Laurence, who got fame after his participation in The Voice of Holland in 2014, during which he was in Ilse DeLange’s team, who alonside with Waylon represented the country in Eurovision 2014, finishing 2nd. In 2017 the young singer graduated from rock Academy of Tilburg , while later he went on with his music studies in London and Stickholm. Since the age of 12 he has been writting songs for the band The Slick and Suited and other artists.
