The Netherlands: S10’s participation in Eurovision 2022 will be released on March 3

The song that S10 will perform in Turin will be presented on March 3.
The Dutch national broadcaster, AVROTROS, has confirmed that the S10’s participation in Eurovision 2022 will be released on March 3, 2022.
The broadcaster internally selected singer Stien den Hollander, better known by her stage name S10, to represent the Netherlands in Turin. A panel formed by Dutch TV commentators Jan Smit and Cornald Maas along with radio DJs Coen Swijnenberg and Sander Lantinga selected S10 to represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, Italy in May.
S10 will be the first performer in 12 years to represent the Netherlands with a Dutch language entry.
A few words for S10
Stien den Hollander, born November 8, 2000, professionally known as S10, is a Dutch singer, rapper and songwriter.
He grew up in Abbekerk and later in Hoorn, where she attended high school. After completing the MAVO study program in 2018, she studies at the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht.
She started her music career in 2016 and signed a contract with Dutch hip hop record label Noah’s Ark in 2017. In 2019, she released her debut studio album Snowsniper, which won an Edison Award.
The Netherlands in Eurovision
The Netherlands is one of the seven countries that had its first participation back in 1956.
The Netherlands has won the contest five times in 1957 with Corry Brokken and the song ”Net als toen”, in 1959 with ‘‘Teddy Scholten”and the song ” ‘n Beetje”, in 1969 with ”Lenny Kuhr” and the song ”De troubadour”, in 1975 with ”Teach-In” and the song ”Ding-a-dong” and the last one was three years ago in 2019 with ”Duncan Laurence” and the song ”Arcade”.
In 2021 the Netherlands represented by Jeangu Macrooy who sang ”Birth of a new age” which finished 23th place with 11 points.
