Tonight: Live from Expo Tel Aviv the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019
Tonight the Eurovision Song Contest continues to unfold with its second semi-final show!
Good evening, Europe this is Tel Aviv calling once again !! After an exciting 1st semi final last Tuesday , EBU and KAN are going forward in presenting us tonight live straight from Tel Aviv the second semi-final of Eurovision 2019. Taking place at the Expo Tel Aviv, a total of 18 participants will battle for the 10 golden tickets leading to the final , decided by 50/50 professional jury vote and televoting.
The show will again be hosted by the capable foursome Bar Refaeli and Erez Tal who will be located on the main stage plus Assi Azar and Lucy Ayoub who will be standing in the green room. Israeli group Shalva Band will perform their song Million dreams as part of tonight’s interval act.
How to watch
Semi-final 2 will start at 21:00 CEST (22:00 local time).

Out of this total of 18 contestants, eventually ten will advance to the Grand Final of Eurovision 2019 on Saturday 18 May. The ten qualifiers will be decided by 50% professional jury vote, which has already been awarded last evening during the jury show, and 50% public televoting from today’s show.
Viewers from the 18 countries participating tonight may cast their vote, as well as 3 of the automatic qualified countries (Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom).
A look at the betting odds
The betting odds have become a part of the Eurovision reality weeks before and during the Eurovision shows. However they are all speculations on the chances a country has to qualify to the final or win the trophy. The other side of the coin has to to with the music, the vocals, the lyrics, the messages and the staging in contestants showcased onstage.
The ten countries that may qualify according to the betting odds at the moment are Sweden, Russia, Azerbaijan, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Malta, Norway, North Macedonia, Armenia and Denmark.
