Tonight: Second semi-final of Serbia’s “Beovizija 2019”

The second semi-final of Serbia’s national selection “Beovizija 2019” will take place tonight. A total of 12 acts will be competing for 6 spots at Sunday’s Grand Final. The 6 finalists will join last night’s qualifiers Aleksandra Sekulić, Saška Janks, Ivan Kurtić, Sofija Perić, Wonder Strings & Ivana Vladović and Nataša & Una in the race for the golden ticket to Tel Aviv.

Since its cancellation in 2010, this year marks the second consecutive year the national final “Beovizija 2019” will determine who will represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest. The winner of “Beovizija 2019” will be determined by a split public televoting (50%) and a jury voting (50%) made up of music critics and experts. A total of 24 acts are competing in the semi-finals out of which 12 acts progress to the Grand Final on March 3, in which the Serbian representative in Tel Aviv will be chosen.

Tonight’s competing acts and songs are:

1. Sanja Rio – “Ljubimo se”
2. Majdan – “Budim te”
3. Goga Stanić – “Čudo”
4. Ana Popović – “Lutaš”
5. Lord – “Radnički sin”
6. Nevena Božović – “Kruna”
7. Gipsykord – “Boje”
8. Jana Šušteršić – “Viktorija”
9. Lana & Aldo – “Pogledaj u nebo”
10. Dženan Lončarević – “Nema suza”
11. Tina & Lola Amvon – “Tvoje oči”
12. Tamara Milanović – “Reči nisu dovoljne”

Among the competing artists is Nevena Božović, who represented Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö as part of the girl group Moje 3 with the song “Ljubav je svuda”. With 46 points, the group finished in the 11th place of the first semi-final and, hence, failed to qualify for the Grand Final.
