Tonight: Super Saturday with 10 national selection shows; Where to watch each one

What a Super Saturday with a total of 10 national selection shown taking place across Europe and Australia. Today starting early in the morning you can watch Australia’s national final, Montenegro’s national final, Sanremo 2019 final in Italy,the Melodifestivalen 2019 2nd semi final in Sweden, A Dal 2019 1st Semi final in Hungary, Lithuania’s 1st semi final of Eurovizija 2019,Iceland’s first semi final, Vidbir 2019 1st semi final in Ukraine,the 3rd Live show of Gerogian Idol and the last semi final round of The Next Star in Israel.
Australia – Eurvision: Australia Decides Final
The day opens with Australia’s first national final , Eurovsision: Australia Decides, at the Gold Coast Exhibition and Convention Centre hosted by Myf Warhurst and Joel Creasey, Eurovision commetators for Australia since 2017.
A total of 10 cometing acts will compete in the Aussie’s first national final , and they are:
- Ella Cooper – Data Dust
- Electric Fields – 2000 and Whatever
- Mark Vincent – This Is Not the End
- Aydan Calafiore – Dust
- Courtney Act – Fight For Love
- Leea Nanos – Set Me Free
- Sheppard – On My Way
- Alfie Arcuri – To Myself
- Kate Miller-Heidke – Zero Gravity
- Tania Doko – Piece of Me
The winner will be decide 50% by public voting and 50% by jury voting. The jury will consist of :
- Paul Clarke (Head of Delegation Australia)
- Josh Martin (Commissioning Editor, Entertainment at SBS)
- Fifa Riccobono (former CEO of Albert Music, a music publishing and production company)
- Milly Petriella (Artist Service director of APRA, a music rights organisation)
- Christer Björkman (producer of Sweden’s “Melodifestivalen” and of various Eurovision Song Contests)
The Australian representative in 2016 , Dami Im will appear as guest star on the show.

Montenegro – Final
Tonight Montenegro’s national final, Montevizija 2019 , is set to take place with 5 contestants battling for the country’s representation in Tel Aviv next May
The five competing acts are :
- D-Moll – Heaven
- Andrea Demirović – Ja sam ti san
- Monika Knezović – Nepogrješiva
- Ivana Popović-Martinović – Nevinost
- Nina Petković – Uzmi ili ostavi
Among the Montenegerin national finalists we see once again the Eurovision 2009 representative , Andrea Demirović, who had failed to qualify to the grand final with her song Just Get Out Of My Life, ending in the 11th place of the semi final. Notable are the participations of Ivana Popović-Martinović and Nina Petković, who had made an attempt in last year’s national final to represent the country without luck.
The winner will be determined after two rounds of voting. In the first round the public vote, a radio experts jury, an international jury and a national jury by local artists will determine which to contestants will qualify to the second round of voting. In the second round only the public will decide who will represent the country in Eurovision 2019.

Italy – Final
Tonight at the Ariston Theatre in Sanremo the grand final of Italy most popular song festival, Sanremo Festival 2019, presented to us by Claudio Baglioni, Claudio Bissio και Virginia Raffaele.
A total of 24 act are competing in the 69th Sanremo festival and they are listed below:

From the combining voting results of the 5 shows of the festival the three top act will qualify to a superfinal round. Then the 3 finalists will perform once again their entries and the press room voting (20%), a special demoscopic jury’s (composed of a sample of 300 music fans) votes (30%) and the public vote (50%) will determine the final winner.
The winners has the right to represent the country in Eurovision. In case of a refusal RAI can choose the acts it considers most appropriate to represent Italy in Eurovision 2019.

Sweden – Second Semi final
Sweden’s seek for its next Eurovision representative continues with, Melodifestivalen’s 2nd semi final live from the city of Malmö, and will be hosted by Marika Carlsson, Eric Saade, Kodjo Akolor and Sara Dawn Finer. In tonight’s 2nd semi final we will see another set of 7 acrs compete for 2 place in the final and two spots in the second chance semi final round.
The 7 competing entries are :

- Jan Malmsjö – Leva livet
- Vlad Reiser – Nakna i regnet

Among the contestants we see acts that have participated in the show in the past such as Andreas Johnson (Melodifestivalen 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012 και 2015), Oscar Enestad (member of FO&O – Melodifestivalen 2017), Jan Malmsjö (Melodifestivalen 1969), Liamoo (Melodifestivalen 2017) and Margaret (Melodifestivalen 2018 and Polish national final 2016).
The voting consists of two rounds in which only public voting determines the outcome. The first 5 top acts in the first round of votes move on to ta second round of voting. The first two qualify to the final direclty, while the 3rd and 4th qualify to the second chance semi final show.

Hungary – First semi final
After the three first qualifying rounds the national selection of A Dal 2019 moves to its first semi final stage with 18 contestants spilt in two semi finals of nine contestants.
The 9 competing acts of the first semi final of A Dal 2019 are:

From these 9 only 4 will qualify to the final . The 3 qualifiers will be determined by a combination of public voting and votes by a jury ( Feró Nagy, Lilla Vincze, Misi Mező και Miklós Both) and one more qualifier will be selected by the public voting in a second round of voting.
Hosts of the show will be once again Freddie (Hungary ESC 2016) and Dallos-Nyers Boglárka.

Lithuania – Semi final
This evening will take place the first semi final of Lithuania’s national selection, Eurovizija 2019. Host of the night will be Gabrielė Martirosianaitė and Giedrius Masalskis.
Today we will see a set of 12 acts competing for a spot in the final of the show . Lithuania’s 12 semi final hopefuls are:

Iceland – First semi final
Today Iceland’s national selection , Söngvakeppnin 2019, kicks off with the first semi final. Host of the show will be Fannar Sveinsson and Benedikt Valsson.
Tonight we will see 5 acts compete in the first semi final with another five to follow next week . This evening’s 1st semi final acts are:
- Hatari – Hatrið mun sigra
- Hera Björk – Eitt andartak
- Kristina Skoubo Bærendsen – Ég á mig sjálf
- Þórdís Imsland – Nú og hér
- Daníel Óliver – Samt ekki
Among them is Hera Björk, who represented the country in 2010 with the song Je Ne Sais Quoi, finishing 19th in the grand final.
In the semi finals all songs will be performed in Icelandic language whille in the final as they will be presented in Eurovision in case of a win.
From these 5 contestants on 2 will qualify to the final. This will be determined by public and jury voting. The final will have up to 5 comepting acts while the national broadcaster reserves the right to pick one more finalist apart the 4 semi final qualifiers.

Ukraine – First semi final
Tonight Ukraine’s national selection process of Vidbir 2019 , kicks off with the first set of 8 contestnats competing in the 1st semi final. Host of the show will be Sergey Pritula.
The 8 comepting acts of the 1st semi final are :

- YUKO – Galyna Guliala

From these 8 contestants only 3 will qualify to the final. The resutls will come out by the public votes (50%) and the jury votes (50%). The jury consists of Eugene Filatov (music producer and one of the founders of the group Onuka) , Jamala (Eurovision 2016 winner) and Andreiy Danilko (Ukraine 2007).
Guest star of the night the country’s ESC 2018 representative MELOVIN, who came 17th with the song Under The Ladder.

Georgia – Third Live Show
Last week we watched taking place the second live show of Georgian Idol, the show through which Georgia has decided to determine this year’s Eurovision act.In the first show of the competition we saw 10 acts that had been selected, after auditions all over the country, by a jury panel consisted of Stephane Mgebrishvili (Georgia 2009), Natia Todua (winner of The Voice Germany), Tinatin Berdzenishvili (Director of media of GPB) and Zaza Shengelia (CEO of Bravo Records),
While in the first two shows we saw three acts go home in tonight’s 3rd live show th remaining 7 acts will compete to qualify to the next round. These are:

- Liza Kalandadze
- Nini Tsnobiladze
- Giorgi Pruidze
- Giorgi Nakashidze
- Oto Nemsadze
- Tamar Lachkhepiani
From these 7 again 1 more will be eliminated . The result will be determined by votes coming from the national and International audience through televoting and Facebook.

Israel- The Next Star 2019
Tonight we will watch the last semi final show of , The Next Star, as the last two spots of the final on February will be determined.
The 4 acts competing for these two final spots are:

- Avraham de Carvalho
The outcome will be determied by the public and the jury formed by Static & Ben-El Tavori, Keren Peles, Harel Skaat (ESC Israel2010), Shiri Maimon (ESC Israel 2005) and Assaf Amdursky.
