Tonight: Watch seven countries’ national selection shows
This evening 7 countries will be holding national selection shows for Eurovision 2019. France and Malta will be holding their grand finals, Hungary its 2nd qualifying round, Lithuania is 3rd qualifying show, Latvia its first semi final of Supernova . Gerogia the first Live show of Gerogian Idol while Israel will continue with the next show of The Next Star 2019.
Lets see in details this evening’s shows:
France- Final of Destination Eurovision 2019
Tonight at 21:00 CET the final of Destination Eurovision 2019 will take place determining which act will represent France at the 64th Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.
A total of 8 acts will battle for the goldent ticket to Tel Aviv. Four acts qualified previously from each semi final round and tonight they will give their best shot in order to fly the French flag in Tel Aviv. The 8 finalist of tonight’s show are:
- Chimène Badi – Là-haut
- Silvàn Areg – Allez leur dire
- Bilal Hassani – Roi
- Aysat – Comme une grande
- Emmanuel Moire – La promesse
- The Divaz – La voix d’Aretha
- Doutson – Sois un bon fils

Tonight’s show outcome will be determined 50% by the public vote and 50% by an international jury which this time will consist of 10 countries instead of 5 as in the semi finals.
The members that will form the jury of France’s national final are:
- Rona Nishliu – represented Albania at Eurovision 2012 (Albania)
- Olga Salamakha – Head of Delegation, producer of Junior Eurovision 2018 (Belarus)
- Alex Panayi – represented Cyprus at Eurovision 1995 and 2000 (Cyprus)
- Christoph Pellander – Head of Delegation (Germany)
- Michael Kealy – Head of Delegation (Ireland)
- Doron Medalie – songwriter, composer of “Toy” (Israel)
- Nicola Caligiore – Head of Delegation (Italy)
- Ekaterina Orlova – Head of Delegation (Russia)
- Beatriz Luengo – singer, dancer, comedian (Spain)
- Reto Peritz – Head of Delegation (Switzerland)
Host of the the final sjow will be once again the French Canadian singer Garou.

Malta – X-factor final
This year X Factor Malta is the successor of Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) as the format for selecting the country’s Eurovision 2019 entry. Tonight the competition reached its Grand final show during which 4 contestants will battle for the right to represent the country in Eurovision 2019.
Host of the show will be Ben Camille, while the jury panel will consists of the four x-factor coaches Howard Keith Debono, Ray Mercieca, Alexandra Alden, και Ira Losco.
The 4 acts that will comepete in tonight’s x-factor final are :
- Owen Leuellen (Boys’ team)
- Nicole Frendo (Girls team)
- Michela Pace (Girls team)
- Petra (Overs)

Hungary – 2nd Qualifying round
Tonight you can watch another live qualifying round of Hungary’s national selection , A Dal 2019, during which the second set of 10 acts will compete to win a spot in the semi finals
The 10 competing entries of the 2nd qualifying round are :

Six acts from the 10 contestants of this qualifying round will move on to the semi finals that are set to take place on February 9 and 16 . A jury and the public will determine which 6 acts will qualify to the semi finals.
In the first round of voting the judges will award points to each song with 10 being the highest. The public voting will be added to that of the jury’s in order to determine which 5 acts will directly qualify to the semi finals. In the second round of voting the 5 remaining act will face another round of public voting that will determined which act will be the sixth and last act to qualify to the semi finals.
Hosts of the show will be Freddie (Hungary 2016) alongside with Dallos-Nyers Boglárka. The jury will consist of the following members Feró Nagy, ή Lilla Vincze, ο Misi Mező and Miklós Both

Lithuania – 3rd Qualifying round
Tonight the 3rd qualifying round of Lithuania’s national selection, Eurovizija will be broadcast. Hosts of the tonight’s show are Gabrielė Martirosianaitė and Giedrius Masalskis.
Today we will see a total of 13 candidates competing in order to win a spot in the semi finals. These are the following:

Latvia – First Semi final of Supernova
The Latvian national selection kicks off tonight with the first semi final of Supernova, the Eurovision national selection format Latvia has been following to determine its Eurovision representative
A total of 8 entries will compete in tonight’s 1st semi final shoew. These are the following:
- Aivo Oskis – Somebody’s Got My Lover
- Alekss Silvērs – Fireworks
- Edgars Kreilis – Cherry Absinthe
- Elza Rozentāle – You Came on Tiptoe
- Kris & Oz – Midnight Streets
- Laime Pilnīga – Awe
- Līga Rīdere – Būšu tepat
- Samanta Tīna – Cutting the Wire
From these 8 acts 4 only will make to the final show. The resutls will be determined 50% by a national jury committee formed by DJ Rudd, Linda Leen (singer), Ralf Eiland (singer) και Artis Dvariona (radio producer), and 50% by the public vote

Georgia – The First Live show of Georgian Idol
Last week the last set of auditions of Georgian Idol were completed. Following the auditions the jury of the show, Stephane Mgebrishvili (Georgia 2009), Natia Todua (winner of The Voice Germany), Tinatin Berdzenishvili (Director of media of GPB) and Zaza Shengelia (CEO of Bravo Records), selected the best 10 acts to proceed to the live shows of the competition.
The 10 acts that will compete in Georgian Idol’s first live show are:

- Marim Kakhelishvili

From these 10 cometing act 2 will go home today. The final outcome of tonight’s show will be determined by the pubic in Georgia and internationally that will be able to cast its votes through cell phones and Facebook.

Israel – HaKokhav HaBa L’Eurovizion
Israel continues its search for the next Eurovosion representative with the next show of HaKokhav HaBa L’Eurovizion where 10 acts remain in the competition.
In these stage fo the show the 10 acts will compete in duels . The judges of the show Static & Ben-El Tavori, Keren Peles, Harel Skaat (Israel 2010), Shiri Maimon (Israel 2005) and Assaf Amdursky, can award 0 or 8 points to each contestant while the rest of the votes are awarded by the public. The act with the lowest amount of positive votes leaves the competition.
