Ukraine: Listen to the competing entries of “Vidbir 2020”

The competing entries of the Ukrainian national selection Vidbir 2020, have been released and fans can listen to the songs that ambition to represent Ukraine in the next Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam.
The 16 songs of the Ukrainian national selection will compete in two semi final rounds of 8 entries each. Click below on the link to listen to the candidate songs:
1st Semi final:

Vidbir 2020
Ukraine will be selecting its Eurovision entry through Vidbir. UA:PBC and STB will collaborate on holding the country’s national selection , which will be presented by Sergey Prytula. The show’s jury panel this year is made by Andrey Danilko, aka Verka Serduchka, Tina Karol (Ukraine 2006) and Vitalii Drozdov (radio producer).
Ruslan Kvinta is the musical producer of the show while Natalia Franchuk will be the the creative producer of the national selection. According to the dates announced the Ukrainian national selection will unfold as following:
- Semi-final 1 : 08/02/2020
- Semi-final 2 : 15/02/2020
- Grand Final : 22/02/2020
All three shows will be aired by UA:PBC 1 and STB
THE EUROVISION STORY SO FAR
Ukraine debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 with Oleksandr Ponormayov‘s Hasta la vista, and has won the competition twice in 2004 (Ruslana) and 2016 (Jamala). The country has hosted the contest twice in its majestic capital Kyiv in 2005 and 2017.Ukraine is one of the most successful countries in the Eurovision Song Contest and has so far not missed out competing in the Grand Final while has been abcent only the 2015 edition.
The country has made it 9 times in the top 10 during its 15 years of ESC participations, including 2 victories ( 2004, 2016), 2 2nd placings (2007, 2008), 13rd placing (2013) and 4th placing (2011).In 2018 Ukraine was represented by Vidbir 2018 winner, Melovin with his entry Under the ladder, achieving a 17th place in the Grand Final.
In 2019 Ukraine saw a dramatic national selection Vidbir, which saw Maruv winning with her entry Siren Song. After a serial of dramatic developments between the broadcaster and the winner eventually Ukraine withdrew from the Eurovision 2019.
