Ukraine: Public broadcaster UA: KULTURA to hold a national selection for Junior Eurovision 2021

The public broadcaster, UA:Kultura, will organise Ukraine’s national selection for Junior Eurovision 2021.
UA: Kultura, will hold a televised national selection show in order to determine the country’s Junior Eurovision representative.
Ukraine hasn’t held a televished national final since 2017, for which the terms for participation will be released in the following days. The national final will see a total of 12 to 16 participants and will include a video clip and a live performance of the Ukrainian competing acts. The next JESC representative will be selected on October 23, 2021.
Ukraine took part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the first time in 2006. Last year Oleksandr Balabanov represented the nation in Warsaw with “Vidkryvai (Open Up)” which finished 7th with a total of 106 points in the overall score.
