Ukraine: UA:PBC is positive to Go_A as Eurovision 2021 representatives

Following the Eurovision 2020 cancellation earlier today, the Ukrainian national broadcaster , UA:PBC, seems positive in having this year’s representatives, the band Go_A to go on with representing Ukraine at Eurovision 2021. 

The chairman of the Ukrainian national broadcaster, Zurab Alasania, says that the broadcaster and the partner broadcaster STB are to stay behind Go_A to represent the country in Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Alasania says:

If nothing changes in the life of the Go_A band and they are ready to perform on the Eurovision stage next year, we will contribute to that. This applies to the preparation for the song competition and other organizational issues. Our partners and colleagues, STB channel, agree with this decision.

Whether the acts will be able to perform the same entries they were to perform in Eurovision 2020 is a matter to be decided in due course. Go_A has won the Ukrainian national final , Vidbir 2020, with their enthnic song “Solovey”
