United Kingdom: SuRie will deliver her “Storm” in Lisbon.

Just a few minutes ago United Kingdom chose its representative for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2018, in Lisbon. SuRie with her song Storm managed to prevail in jury and public voting and will fly the flag for the UK in Lisbon next May.

The country’s National Final , «Eurovision: You Decide» , was aired live on BBC 2. The event was held in the Brighton Dome,while hosts of the night were Mel Giedroyc and ESC 2015 winner , Måns Zelmerlöw.

This year’s final included 6 contestants who battled for the golden ticket .The competing artists were:

RAYA – Crazy

Jaz Ellington – You

Goldstone – I feel the love

Asanda – Legends

Liam Tamne – Astronaut

SuRie – Storm (WINNER)

The winner was determined by a combination of public and jury voting (50-50% each).

During the final a special panel consisted of Rylan Clark-Neal (tv show presenter and fan of Eurovision ), Rochelle Humes (Tv. Presenter and former member of the group The Saturdays) and Tom Fletcher(former member of the group McFly), commented and expressed opinions on the competing artists.
