Wales JESC 2019: Erin to Junior Eurovision 2019 with the entry “Calon yn Curo”
Wales has decided! 13 years old Erin will represent the nation in the upcoming Junior Eurovision in Poland with her entry “Calon yn Curo”
After a national final that consisted of two voting rounds Erin was crowned winner and will represent Wales at its second participation in Junior Eurovision. The national final saw 6 finalists compete in the first round, during which the acts performed covers of well known songs. Regional juries from Aberystwyth, Llandudno, Carmarthen, Cardiff and London, made up from two underaged and two adults , evaluated the performances awarding a number of stars to each one. A panel of three mentors , Fisher, Macey and Bethan were there to express their opinion but without the right to vote.

During the second round, the superfinal round, the three act with the more received stars performed the song Calon yn Curo, which had been selected earlier in three different versions. A second voting by the public and jury followed to crown Erin winner of the national final.
Wales debuted in Junior Eurovision just last year ,when she was represented by Manw with her entry Perta, which came 20th with 29 points.
