San Marino: SMRTV unveils the 10 ‘Big’ artists to compete in “Una voce per San Marino”

The San Marino broadcaster, SMRTV, has revealed the 10 ” big ” artists who will compete in the country’s national final “Una Voce per San Marino”.

For 2022, the San Marino broadcaster, SMRTV organizes the national final “Una voce per San Marino” in order to select the next representative of the country in Turin.

This year’s selection artists are divided into two major categories: Emerging Acts and Big Acts. Nine Emerging acts and ten Big acts will claim the country’s representation in Turin in the Grand Final to be held on February 19, 2022 at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana.

The 9 Emerging acts will be selected at the show that will take place on February 18 at the Teatro Titano, in the city of San Marino. The 10 Big Acts were unveiled today during a press conference attended by Tourism Secretary Federico Pedini Amati, SMRTV Director Ludovico Di Meo, the head of the Eurovision delegation Alessandro Capicchioni, and Media Evolution Vittorio Costa.

The 10 Big artists to compete in the national final are: 

  • Achille Lauro
  • Cristina Ramos
  • Francesco Monte
  • Burak Yeter & Alessandro Coli
  • Valerio Scanu
  • Blind
  • Ivana Spagna
  • Matteo Faustini
  • Tony Cicco & Deshedus & Alberto Fortis
  • Fabry & Labiuse feat. Miodio

San Marino in Eurovision

San Marino has been taking part in the Eurovision Song contest since 2008 and has not won the competition to date.

Best placing so far was in 2019 with Serhat with her song “Say Na Na Na” which finished 19th in the final.

In 2021 San Marino represented by Senhit who sang ‘Adrenalina’ alongside with Flo Rida which finished 22th place with 50 points.
